01. The Core Directive
Fue.li was built on a single premise: Your thoughts belong to you. We do not want your data. We do not want to train AI on your drafts. We do not want to sell your writing habits to advertisers. We are building an engine, not a surveillance network.
02. App, Not a Website
Recommended: Installed PWA
Launches from home screen, runs in its own window, operates fully offline, and maintains no persistent server connection.
Browser Mode
Requires internet for initial load. Zero telemetry. Same local privacy as the installed mode, but subject to browser-level sync settings.
03. Zero Telemetry
- No IP Tracking
- No Analytics
- No Keylogging
- No Cookies
04. Local-First Architecture
Cache Warning
Clearing browser cache or uninstalling the PWA permanently deletes drafts. Save your .md file regularly. We have no server-side backup by design.
09. The Public Node (Bear Blog)
While the **engine** operates in total isolation, our blog (blog.fue.li) is a public distribution node hosted via Bear Blog.
Outpost Considerations
- Logging: Visiting the blog involves standard web server logging (IP address and User-Agent) by Bear Blog's infrastructure for the purpose of serving content and DDoS protection.
- Analytics: We use Bear Blog's privacy-first analytics which are non-intrusive, anonymous, and do not use cookies. We do not track individual "natural persons."
- Third-Party: Bear Blog is a third-party platform. While chosen for its alignment with our "no-harvester" philosophy, usage is subject to Bear Blog's own privacy terms.
